Oracle Database 12c introduces multiple features which strengthen the security aspect of PL/SQL language. The session will drive the motivation behind the below (but not limited to) security enhancements:

1. Restrict the PL/SQL program unit access by specifying ACCESSIBLE BY Clause 
2. Grant roles to PL/SQL Packages and Standalone Subprograms
3. Secure LIBRARY definition with directories and credential
4. Functions with AUTHID CURRENT_USER can be result cached.
5. Create invoker's right views with BEQUEATH CURRENT_USER 5. Miscellaneous enhancements.
